    Step 1

Create or sign in to your school account

Open Start a Session and sign in. New schools can create an organization from Sign up — you become the owner and can invite other teachers later.

    Step 2

Name the class and choose languages

Enter a session name (for example, Biology — Period 3), select the language you will speak, and choose up to five languages students may pick when they join.

    Step 3

Share the join link or code

Copy the join link (it includes the code) or announce the short session code. Students open the link on their phones, pick a name and language, and wait for you to start. Multiple teachers at the same school can run classes at the same time.

    Step 4

    Start the microphone

When students are ready, start the mic and teach as usual. Each student chooses Listen for translated audio or Captions for text only. You can allow students to download a bilingual transcript after class if you want.

    Step 5

End class and export the transcript

Close the session when class ends. From Your classes, download the transcript or recording for review, homework, or sharing with support staff.

Tips for a smooth class

  • Use a clip-on or Bluetooth mic when you walk the room.
  • Write the six-character session code on the board, or share the join link.
  • Ask students to join before you start the mic so they are waiting on Listen / Captions.
  • Review Classroom Setup for network and device checklist.
