Student Guide

Join your class with a code and follow the lesson in the language that works best for you.

Step 1

Open the join page

On your phone or Chromebook, go to the Join page. You do not need an account or an app install.

Step 2

Enter the session code

Type the code your teacher shows on the board or announces. Codes are short (six characters).

Step 3

Add your name and language

Enter your name and choose the language you want to hear and read. You can change language anytime during class from the student page.

Step 4

Choose Listen or Captions

When the teacher starts the class, tap Listen for translated audio, or Captions to read only. Captions do not require sound.

Step 5

Follow the lesson

You can change language during class. Mute Listen if you want quieter audio. Leave when class ends. If your teacher allowed it, you can download a bilingual transcript afterward.
